Audit Manager -- Irvine
Our client is looking for
an addition to its Audit team who will contribute to the group's goal of
meeting or exceeding clients' expectations for quality, value and timeliness of
services.
Job
Responsibilities:

Knowledge
of GAAP, specialized accounting principles, and financial statement
presentations
·
Efficiently
supervise financial reporting engagements
·
Developing
quality client relationships
·
Supervising
senior and staff level accountants
·
Knowledge
of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit/review procedures and
techniques
·
Communicating
engagement status to firm principle
Requirements:
·
B.S. in
Accounting, M.S.A. or M.B.A. in accountancy desirable.
·
Six years
recent experience in public accounting
·
CPA
certification
·
Superior
supervision and review skills
·
In-depth
knowledge of financial reporting standards
·
Ability
to provide staff training and development
·
Engagement
planning and control skills
·
Superior
communication skills
·
Group
presentation skills, such as teaching internal CPE classes or presentations to
clients
Salary: 95,000 – 120,000

Audit Senior -- West LA
Our
client is seeking an Audit Senior to work in their growing audit department. Client
list includes companies in Entertainment, Manufacturing, Distribution,
technology and nonprofit.
Job
Responsibilities:
·
Performing,
assisting and supervising audits, reviews and compilations for various types of
financial services clients including but not limited to: hedge funds, private
equity, venture capital, broker dealers, etc
·
Preparing
and analyzing financial statements, evaluate internal controls, closely
supervise staff members and communicate effectively with clients
·
Developing
reasonable time budgets and effectively monitor performance of Staff
·
Delegating
to supervising and evaluating Staff
·
Effectively
assisting on multiple smaller financial services engagements simultaneously as
necessary
·
Providing
training and motivation to Staff
·
Acting
as a mentor to Staff and assisting with recruiting and retention
·
Developing
positive relationships with client personnel
·
Identifying
potential opportunities for new and/or extended client services with financial
services industry
Requirements:

Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting or equivalent major

CPA
